Module posisions acting wierd after upgrade?

Post by davhaw »

So i updated to joomla 5 few days ago and now some modules show up in the wrong place
i didnt touch the template, just did the update. anyone else seen this? maybe joomla changed how it handles posisions or smth?

kinda annoying tbh, not sure where to even start fixing it

Hmm, that's weird. Sometimes updates mess with module positions, or maybe some settings got reset? Check if your template is compatible with Joomla 5; sometimes they need updates too. Have you tried looking at the module settings? Maybe they're pointing to the wrong positions now. If nothing else, maybe try reinstalling the template files if you have a backup. Could be a random glitch? Hope that helps a bit!

Ugh, that's frustrating. Sometimes updates can mess with how things display. Maybe double-check your module positions in the template manager? Sometimes the update might shift them around. Also, see if there's any new settings or features in Joomla 5 affecting module layout. If nothing works, maybe check if your template has updates too. Hope it's a quick fix!
